To create the safest fleshing machine possible, we developed a guard system that completely encloses the blade and is simple to adjust. The rear guard is ergonomically curved to allow comfort when leaning into the machine. The guards are Teflon coated on the inside for corrosion resistance. The front blade guard is porcelain coated on the outside so hides glide smoothly.

One of the safety features on our flesher is a blade tuning window which can be opened and closed for quick blade touchups.

The S&S Flesher features a heavy duty balanced spindle which supports the main blade hub and pulley with two double sealed bearings which are guaranteed for the life of the machine.-Original Owner-
